<p>Skullgirls Encore is now officially known as Skullgirls 2nd Encore on the PS Vita.</p><p>This news is according to a PlayStation blog post from Lab Zero Games CEO Peter Bartholow.</p><p>Bartholow explains that the name change applies to both the PS Vita and PlayStation 4 versions.</p><p>Skullgirls 2nd Encore, which doesn't have a release date yet, will be cross-buy and cross-play compatible across all PlayStation platforms.</p><p>It will also feature characters, game modes, and more not included in the original Skullgirls, and will run at a smooth 60 FPS.</p>We'll let you know once we hear word of a price or release date for Skullgirls 2nd Encore..
