Update on February 24th at 17:01: Good news everyone! The game's now out on iOS and Android.
Once you've tried it, why not leave your opinion of the game in the comments section below?

While you might have expected a base-building game in the vein of The Simpsons: Tapped Out, FUTURAMA: Game of Drones is not that game at all.

Yes, you'll have to do deliveries with the Planet Express crew but each one of them will be done on a board.

Then, you must match a certain number of drones on that board to fulfill the order. You can only match four or more of a specific type of drones.

If you do more than four matches, a special drone will appear and so on.
observatoriodevino.com
Over the Alps, the Apple Arcade narrative adventure game told through interactive postcards, has received a big update today called A Test of Character.

The update sees a complete rework of the police pursuit mechanic, now called Complications. As you’re travelling through routes in Over the Alps, these encounters with the police will make things trickier and you must use your special character traits to overcome the complications that arise.

The update also brings in an improved footprints and misdirect system, and a lot of new story content. There are now higher Risk Levels on each route, increasing the chances of you running into trouble. Failing a complication leaves a footprint, resulting in the police closing in on your location. There’s actually so much more to it that I might as well link the full rundown on the developer’s Steam blog.

The update was announced way back in June, originally slated for an August release before being delayed due to various development complications. Stave Studios has also said the final story update is still coming, concluding the espionage trilogy sometime next year. An official announcement is expected very soon.

Over the Alps is an espionage thriller set in the 1930s and inspired by old detective novels and Hitchcock movies. In it you’re tasked with going undercover in the Alps, evading police and travelling through beautifully rendered Swiss scenery. The game is made up of former developers from the likes of Failbetter Games and Inkle Studios.

You can play Over the Alps by downloading it from Apple Arcade on the iOS App Store, a subscription service that costs $4.99 a month.
If you're intrigued by Apple Arcade but don't know where to start, here's a definitive list of every game available on the service, and what you need to know about them.

A whole host of new events have arrived in Pokemon Masters alongside a new sync pair. That new pair is Elesa and Zebstrika who we've been expecting following a recent datamine of the game. Beyond that, there's a new rally, event and EX challenge. The stuff you've come to expect with these updates at this point basically.

Originally appearing as a Gym Leader in the Unova region Elesa has arrived in Pokemon Masters with her electric Zebra. They're a 5-star sync pair and will have their own Spotlight Scout where you'll have an increased chance to grab the pair until 31st October

There'll also be an Electric-Type training event to coincide with Zebstrika's addition to the game. This event will see you taking on Siebold and Clawitzer who are of course weak to electric attacks, so it's a good opportunity to level your electric pairs. This will be available until 31st October.

There's also a new Rally that's focused on gaining materials for evolution to make compatible sync pairs more powerful. The mission for this rally can be accessed through the Events tab in the Explore menu.

Unlike most of the events that have been in the game so far this Rally won't entirely focus on battles, there's also a bit of rock smashing going along with much more story than the events usually provide, essentially playing out as one of the exploratory missions from the main campaign.

During this Rally period, which will take place between now and the 28th, you'll also gain additional login bonuses that grant greater bonuses than the standard login rewards. Each day you can expect to receive either 200 Gems, 20 Buff Blends or 20 Aid Ade. So a notable increase over the usual 50 Gems or levelling up books.

Finally, there's a new EX challenge where you'll be able to take on Pryce and his Seel. Managing to defeat him will earn you Electric Pins. To be able to face this tougher boss version though you will need to have completed the co-op mission Challenge Cheren & Hilda (Hard).

Pokemon Masters is available on both the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.
