2、
Some rather unexpected news has come through this afternoon regarding iosoftware's games. In case any of you haven't noticed yet, the studio's titles are nowhere to be seen on the App Store but you're not imagining it. Apple has shut their page down.

Having received an email from them earlier, titles such as the Palm Kingdoms series, Royal Bounty HD, and Dwarf Tower have been wiped from the App Store due to a potential breach in the terms of service.

To make matters worse for the developer and iOS fans of their work, since the products no longer exist it also means you can't download them even if you'd bought them before.

"The reason is - Apple has terminated our Apple Developer Program without any warnings or explanation," iosoftware says. Though iosoftware is working on getting the games back into the App Store, there's no telling when that might happen. "We are working on returning all games to the App Store as soon as possible, and will inform you when (and if) this happens. However, you'll have to buy them again. There is nothing that can be done about this."

You can apparently claim a refund for the lost games and until then the titles are all still undisturbed on Google Play and on Steam.
Age of Caves: Idle Primitive(mod menu)The Cat and the Cock

-
The latest casual simulation game from Japanese studio Kairosoft (of Game Dev Story fame) is called Fish Pond Park. It's out now on Android.

Fish Pond Park is, for the most part, a re-skin of most other Kairosoft games. You own a business and are trying to keep it profitable, the difference this time being that you're appealing to nature lovers.

Yes, you have to take a park and turn it into a "nature mecca" in order to attract people to it.

This involves employing people to take people on nature tours, building inns, and installing places where people can go fishing.

Speaking of fishing, you can partake in it yourself as it's one of the mini-games. The fish you catch can be used to catch even bigger ones, impressing your guests.

Of course, you can't just add all of these facilities willy-nilly. You'll need to get the money to pay for it all, as well as do the research required and obtain the appropriate licenses.

If you want to give it a go, you can purchase Fish Pond Park for £2.99 / $3.99 on Google Play right now.

FairPlay Studios’ Fallen Knight is getting some downloadable content this week on Apple Arcade, its first major update since the original launch back in October 2019.

The free update, called Galahad’s Path, brings a massive amount of new content to the game for you to enjoy. There’s a new playable character, called Galahad, who you can take on an alternative route in the main story as you help him save Neo Utopia from The Purge. Galahad’s Path adds roguelike gameplay to Fallen Knight, as you only have one life and must start over if you fail.

The new Boss Rush Mode also allows you to enjoy the thrilling combat in a bunch of back to back scenarios that pits you against Fallen Knight’s toughest foes. The update also has a bunch of quality of life improvements, such as a new shop and customisation system, new stages and a new randomised buff and debuff system. FairPlay is presenting this update as a ‘Thank You’ message to the players for all the support they received throughout launch.

Fallen Knight originally released on Apple Arcade in 2019. It’s a futuristic knight’s tale where you play as a descendent of Sir Lancelot, and have to face off against enemy heroes and a shadowy organisation known as The Purge.

FairPlay Studios has also announced the game will be expanding to more platforms this year, releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (as well as current-gen consoles via backwards compatibility) sometime in 2021.

For now, check it out on Apple Arcade, the premium iOS subscription service that gives you access to hundreds of mobile games for a small monthly fee of $4.99.
If you enjoy playing action games and want to discover more, you should have a read of our list where we've detailed some of our favourites on iOS.
